Instrumental Music Program:
Have you always wanted to play an instrument but not known where to start? Instrumental Music lessons at Lalor Secondary College are free and we can even loan you an instrument (deposit required). Lessons are available on trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard and voice. If you are interested (open to all year levels) fill in this Expression of Interest form (IM Lessons).
I will be in touch to introduce you to the Instrumental Music teachers and organise instrument hire if needed.
Victorian State Schools Spectacular:
Do you want to be part of the Lalor Secondary College group who performs in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular this year? You will be part of the Mass Choir which is made up of over 1200 students across Victoria. They will perform alongside a Mass Dance troup of over 1200 students, an orchestra of almost 100 students and a principal cast (singers and dancers) that bring the total to almost 3000 students.
If successful you will be required to attend weekly rehearsals throughout 2021, practise at home and record your part at the Performing Arts Unit in Collingwood. If this sounds like something you’re interested in (open to all year levels) fill in this Expression of Interest form (VSSS). Auditions will be held at the start of 2021 if there are more people interested than we have spaces for.
