Futsal Competition
On Wednesday the 12th May the senior boys and girls set out to compete in the Darebin Indoor . There was so much interest we had enough to field 3 boys teams! The girls competed well all day, showing excellent sportsmanship and ended up coming home with the title. They did an excellent job with only one sub and were in high spirits throughout the tournament. The boys did a great job to play through all games with no subs and worked well as teams. One of ours boys teams made it through to the grandfinal and played out an excellent game that resulted in drawer. This meant there was a penalty shoot out to decide the winner. Unfortunately the boys didn’t come home with the win on this occasion, but they should be extremely proud of their efforts. Special shout out to Ali Hassan for kicking 7 goals in his first game of the day! Thank you to all the senior boys and girls for being so well behaved and showing such great sportsmanship, it was a great day out!
